Sometimes life feels overwhelming. Maybe you're navigating a major change, struggling with anxiety, feeling disconnected from yourself, or noticing patterns in your relationships that you don't know how to change.

At Thriving Aspen Counseling, we offer individual therapy that helps you better understand yourself, work through challenges, and make meaningful changes in your life.

What Can Individual Therapy Help With?

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Some are facing a specific challenge, while others simply know that something isn't working.

We work with individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm

  • Depression and difficult emotions

  • Trauma and past experiences

  • Relationship and communication difficulties

  • Life transitions and major changes

  • Self-esteem and personal identity

  • Parenting and family concerns

  • Intimacy and sexual concerns

  • Personal growth and self-understanding

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes having a place to explore your experiences and gain a different perspective can make a meaningful difference.

What Is Individual Therapy Like?

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all.

Your therapist will work with you to understand what's bringing you in, what you hope to change, and what approach makes sense for your needs.

Some sessions may focus on understanding past experiences or relationship patterns. Others may involve developing practical strategies for navigating challenges in your everyday life.

Our goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care that helps you make progress toward what matters to you.

Getting Started With Individual Therapy

Finding a therapist who feels like a good fit matters.

You don't need to know exactly what kind of therapy you need or have all the right words to explain what's happening.

When you reach out, you can let us know a little about what you're looking for and whether you have a preferred therapist. We'll help you determine an appropriate next step.

We offer in-person therapy in Oregon City and virtual appointments throughout Oregon.

Fees & Insurance

Session fees and insurance eligibility depend on the clinician and service provided. Please contact us to confirm current rates, accepted insurance plans, and payment options before scheduling. Out-of-pocket pricing for both Haley and Alejandra is $180 for one clinical hour.

We accept most Regence, BCBS, MODA and Providence plans. For any other insurance carriers, we can provide a superbill to receive out-of-network reimbursement.

Ultimately, determining insurance eligibility is up to you, but we are happy to help determine what options are available.
